My service assistant was Gene. From the very start my experience was exceptional. I brought my car in because my wife was hearing a high pitched squeaking (I never heard it), but because we just had a baby I decided to get it checked out. The guys were pleasant and friendly. I was able to explain my situation and Gene immediately told me that the brakes were probably fine, but for $20 I could have them inspected just to make sure. I really appreciated that honesty. I find it very hard to trust service professionals and I was assuming they would find something wrong even when there was nothing wrong. I got a call back a little while later telling me that the brakes were fine and had significant life left. Best $20 I ever spent to find out. No games, no hassles, no dishonesty. I am compelled to let all know that "The Break Shop" in Mesa is hands down the best place I have ever brought my car in for repairs. Friendly, caring, clean and so much a cut above. They not only diagnosed my car problem but went out of their way to find the part needed as quickly as possible. Kept me informed along the way. As I waited for the diagnosis a number of people came in to pick up their cars. Surprisingly (not surprising any more to me!) each and every one of them seemed so happy and satisfied with the work they'd had done. Is it possible to rate them 6 stars? I've lived a in a few areas of the country and when looking for a mechanic the MOST important thing to look for is honesty. Give me honest over cheap any day. That is not to say these guys are expensive, they're not, they're fair. Outstanding service, quality, knowledge and professionalism. They take the time to let you know what's going on. They'll try to save you money. Offered me a used gas tank instead of new because the used would work just as well. Saved me lots by diagnosing over the phone and helped me determine I could fix a problem on my own. Take your car here and be at ease with your decision. These guys are great. - Dave C.

Carl and friends, where have you been in all my driving life? I called last minute to get an oil change and the voice that answered the phone was uncommonly friendly for a car shop. I actually thought that I dialed a wrong number. So, I got there and I see smiles, the kind that make you wanna smile back. Then I refreshingly heard genuine courtesy and honesty cause I already knew what what was wrong with the car. I wanted to hear what they were going to try and "sell" but it was nothing but the truth! No hoopla, extra stuff or fear! Then I mentioned how my car had also started singing a strange song every time I hit the brake. And Carl said he'll examine it and let me know how they can fix it. When he came back, I knew I was gonna go "nuts" and had to "bolt" out of there (pun intended). Luckily, they have a shuttle service. They took me home and picked me up to get the car. What?! These guys were nice because they are just being decent people. It's the "I want your money " kind of nice. Did I mention that their spot is spotless? Pretty clean for a mechanic shop. I took my car here to get my brakes fixed and was so happy I did! Gene checked me in and took care of my car for me, he was super helpful and nice. My brakes would squeak when I would back up and stop. I took my car to another brake shop and the dealer and both said that was normal for my car because it's a sports car. The Brake Shop Total Car Care informed me that was completely untrue. The Brake Shop not only fixed my breaks but also stopped the squeaking! A win win situation! Great shop! Great group of guys, Gene and Carl are very personable and quite easy to talk to. I was in and out within about an hour-ish. I needed an alignment and overall inspection, and that's what I got! I've been needing a new shop to bring my cars to, and this one is a great location, and the staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Plus they don't up-sell or "BS."
