I cannot explain how happy I am to have found these guys. While I was driving to work I noticed my brakes were making a grinding noise - something they hadn't been doing prior to my vacation. So I did a little research and these guys were highly recommended to me by a couple of people I knew in the area. I called The Brake Shop on Thursday afternoon and got Carl on the phone. He made it so easy for me as I explained what was going on. I told him I didn't get out of work until 5pm but that I should be there before 6. He told me should I run into any issues getting there before they close to just call him back because he'd stay so I could drop my car off. We got there about 5:50pm and he stayed with me to check me in and get the full detail of what was going on until almost 6:15pm. He had his guys look at my car the next day, and sure enough my front brakes were shot and I needed a new cabin air filter as well. He went through everything they found and explained in detail what needed to be done and gave me an extremely fair price for all of the work that needed to be done, so I said yes, and they had my car done around 2pm on Friday. I picked it up after work that day and I couldn't be happier with the results. My car is in tip top shape now and I won't take my car anywhere else for service. The other day I heard a noise that did not sound right. I was unsure of what it was. So today as I was meandering down Country Club Rd in Mesa, I saw the Brake Shop. So I stopped in on a whim not knowing what to expect. WOW! What a pleasant experience rare to find at a mechanic shop. I was greeted with smiles and a great attitude. They took my vehicle in very quickly to inspect what the issue was. What a relief! They identified a simple issue...provided a prompt text with pics and results of the inspection. I am completely impressed with such complete overall great service and I highly recommend them to everyone! They even take tall vehicles like mine! The waiting room and bathroom were clean and tidy too. No greasy grime! We came here on 2 different occasions.  On the first, we thought we had a brake problem.  They gave us a ride to a nearby mall and brought us back when they were finished.  They told us we didn't need breaks yet and gave us the oil change that we also asked for. A year later, the brakes were finally ready to do our brakes.  They gave us a good price and offered to give us a ride wherever we needed.  Great service all around both times. - Mama F. Our car broke down in Mesa on the way to Albuquerque from LA and had to just google the closest shop to us. This is what came up on Google search and couldn't have been luckier! We ended up having cracked CV joints and needed a complete replacement. They were fast, friendly, and affordable! Their waiting room was nice as well which was a great break from the car! I just moved to the Phoenix area 5 months ago. Unfortunately, my brakes went metal to metal and I have no clue how all that works as I am recently divorced. I have long heard horror stories of getting ripped off by companies in the brake industry. I came here to Yelp and read the reviews. There were a couple of them where the reviewers stated as women, they were taken care of and were not ripped off. I went with these guys. I am very satisfied with the whole process from dropping off my car to when I picked it up. Brakes work great and I received a copy of the inspection report complete with photos that helps keep everything in the open for even the most skeptical. Thank you!!! - Christina M. My daughter said her car was  making a noise so I took the car in and it was very bad however they inspected the car and gave me the recommend repairs and even worked with me on the price a bit. This shop has earned every bit of its 5 star rating and will definitely be my go to shop from now on. The staff were all extremely knowledgeable and friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to explain every detail of the issues I was having and answered any and all of my questions and then some. My bill was lower than expected and extremely reasonable. Especially as a female I am used to being taken advantage of and I was pleasantly surprised by The Brake Shop.
