THE BRAKE SHOP: AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTICS
As we move into a more technologically advanced world, one of the most important things that technicians do is automotive diagnostics. Mesa has at least a few repair shops that offer automotive diagnostics, but not all technicians are created equal.
Luckily for drivers everywhere, there is a certification which makes the distinction quite clear. The ASE certification requires technicians to prove their level of experience with an initial test and continuing education. We are very proud to employ technicians that display this level of excellence, and know full well that you expect nothing less.
Many drivers have a misunderstanding that electronic integration makes the process of automotive diagnostics easier. The missing piece of the puzzle here is that the electronics of a vehicle only give you an indication of what is going wrong, but give no indication of what is required to fix it.
In this day and age, it becomes more and more important to have detailed knowledge of the specifics of how any given vehicle works. Automotive diagnostics have become a deep labyrinth of deciphering interconnected issues and reverse engineering the correct solution with nothing more than a collection of error codes.
We take great pride in the work of our technicians and their ability to accurately decode the information provided to them, and quickly execute the solution that is the most effective solution which saves our customers the most money.
Perhaps the most difficult part of quality automotive diagnosticsis making sure that all the potential sources of an issue are accounted for. Not only to eliminate the potential for a recurring issue, but to let our customers know what kind of issues they can expect in the future. The reason for this is to give our customers an opportunity to prepare for the costs of future repairs.
We understand that when it comes to the work being conducted on your vehicle, you will almost certainly have questions about what is needed, and how much it will cost. This is why we welcome any and all questions you may have about your vehicle. Over the years we have learned the value of excellent customer service and communication.
We know that it is our job to make sure that you are well informed of exactly what happened to you vehicle, and how to avoid these problems in the future. Our goal is to provide you with a resource you can rely on to keep your vehicle in the best condition possible. We urge you to contact us if you have any questions about your vehicle, the information we can provide over the phone is limited, but we are more than happy to give it our best shot.
